One of the first things to do is to paint the parts. The interior walls are separate pieces from the exterior and they will be glued together later. This makes painting easy.
I sprayed the outside Caboose Red and the inside white. The real one had more of a light green inside, but this will be on the J&B, not the D&RGW.
Jigs are provided to help some of the mundane tasks, like drilling some extra holes in the endbeams. However, most of the holes are pre-drilled - or should that be pre-lasered?
