RS-3

I model in 1:20 scale and I use Accucraft couplers.   

When I travel to some friend’s railroad, they may model in a different scale, such as 1:29.   Often they prefer Kadee couplers.  

The Accucraft couplers will couple with SOME of the Kadee, but not the smaller versions.

Thus, I decided to get a locomotive that would fit in with the 1:29 modelers.   I would use Kadee couplers on it, so it would couple with their rolling stock.

In addition, since I model 1930s Narrow Gauge, something a bit more modern was in order.  

I chose the Aristo-Craft RS-3.  

I installed a Revolution Receiver and used the standard Revolution Diesel Sound Card.  

I added some light weathering and I was done.
