Original Coaches

These Bachmann models are very loosely based on the Jackson & Sharp coaches.    

These passenger cars are supposedly 1:22.5 and look tiny next to a 1:20 locomotive.  

Actually, they are models of tiny passenger cars.  

I have a coach (Jean), an observation (Christine), and a combine.

The original was dark green with a red roof.  

I had earlier decided on a cream and green color scheme for my railroad, but the dark green was the only thing available.  

I was able to get some green clerestory windows from Bachmann Trains.

When I built my 1:20 passenger cars, I used burgundy as my color scheme.
