Port Lavender Reefer

I had received some really nice metal refrigerator car castings from Rodney Eddington awhile back but had not come up with any inspiration for a car.

Then Bart Salmons built a purple and black refrigerator car for his railroad and I liked the look.  

I asked him for a set of decals and he gladly made me a set.

I built the frame of the car using a cut down version of Bob McCown's EBT steel boxcar kit.
